Rita Revels is a Leadership Consultant for Positive Management Leadership, Inc. and the President & CEO of Employers Network, a 501(c)(4) non-profit employers association. In her role at Employers Network, she provides strategic leadership and guidance to drive organizational growth on employment-related matters, including policies, benefits, compensation, and workplace safety. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and safety program management.
Prior to her current roles, Rita was President of Rev Training & Consulting LLC, where she planned and conducted custom training programs, audited HR functions for clients, and advised on HR and management issues. She also served as Director of Human Resources at Schaeffler Group USA and Human Resources Manager at William Barnet & Son, LLC, where she managed all aspects of the HR function.
A recognized expert, Rita was named Human Resources Professional of the Year by York, Mecklenburg, and Spartanburg Counties. She is an authorized OSHA instructor for General Industry and Construction and has served as an adjunct instructor at Spartanburg Community College and York Technical College.
Rita holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Psychology from the University of South Carolina and an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology from Spartanburg Technical College. She also holds both SHRM-SCP and HRCI SPHR certifications, two senior professional HR certifications.
