Stewart Jones

Stewart is the owner of Greenwood I.T., LLC, a company that provides managed IT services and support to small- to mid-sized businesses and also serves as the Administrator for Oconee County, SC.
In 2014, Stewart was elected to serve on the Laurens County Council and led the launch audits on processes and financials. After serving on the county council through 2019, he was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives and served the state in that role through 2024. In that position, he was instrumental to pass legislation that helps ensure every child in South Carolina has access to early childhood cognitive and development resources.
Over his extensive career, he served on many boards and committees including Chair on the Laurens County Public Works Committee, Member of the Medical, Military and Municipal State House committee, Member of the State House Education Committee, Chair of the Early Childhood Development State House Committee, Upstate Pregnancy Center Executive Board member and Member of the HL Hunley Committee.
Stewart is a graduate of Piedmont Technical College, holds several professional certifications in the technology field and authored several articles that have been featured in many national publications. During his career, he received a host of recognition and awards including: South Carolina Economic Development Institute, Local Government Official of the year, Henry Laurens Award Recipient, Young Americans for Liberty National Rising Star, CPAC Awards for Conservative Excellence and Achievement, RLCSC Liberty Super Hero Award, BDASC Legislative Advocate of the year and Stand for Health Freedom.
